Why Blog?

         Well...when i said to my friends that i have started blogging... the first expression i got was... "What? Blogging? Why? You?". This is not only the expression of my friends... but its a common and general expression which we can expect from almost all of Indians...!

         Not that they are agaisnt such things, well ofcourse they are ;) The only things Indians care, would be... Studies, Job, Family and if time permits... sports (When i say 'sports', Don't expect all kinds...! We are confined to a very narrow selection, which includes Cricket at top position and followed by Tennis. Nothing more) - at common level.

        Some celebs gave us the taste of blogging, like Amitabh bachchan, Aamir khan, and a few more... but couldn't inject much of it. In a country of population over steaming 1.22 billion, a number of some approx 3 million bloggers is considered very meagre...! This shows, how lacking we Indians are in... with respect to Blogging.

        When a kid thinks of writing something creative out of his mind, his parents would bounce on him, with all kinds of this so call'ed, "good to be nothing" scoldings...! which will kill his interest on such things in his collegian life...! (and gets forced to his studies) And as it is said, those things which we are not used to in our early life, are difficult to be dealt with later... and so... not many bloggers come from India...!

Now, some Indians might also say... 

* "what is the actual use of blogging?", or 

* "Why do you wanna share your personal thoughts to everyone?", or 

* "Why would you waste your time on such unnecessary activities?" or even, 

* "If you want memories, why don't you go for writing a diary?"...!

Well... some of their questions do have point.

        Why do we actually blog? We can keep our memories in Diaries...! If u can't carry your Diary book all the time, have it in your Smart phone...! (Almost all the go-wild teenagers have them, and we can expect things like these, only from such people...! NO OFFENCE...It's true.) So, why do people blog???

       The answer would be... "People write blogs as a way to express themselves and their knowledge or expertise. People read blogs as a source of information or because they find the writer interesting."

And also...

    "The writer may have a lot of knowledge to share, and the reader may want an informal way to learn about a topic. Some people use blogs to find other people with similar problems, issues or situations. Blogs can be anonymous, which helps a lot of people share information without being known." (Is what i have found on Internet..! :p)

          

          But in general...i feel.. People write blogs, just as a trial to increase their popularity. Celebs write it to be in touch with fans, and to increase fan base. Normal people write them,

* To show-off their writing skills (which they gain from certain books they come across),

* To generate a significant income, (This is true. Only through blogs, did 'Andhra Kitchen' became, and got voted to be the 'Best Restaurant in Tokyo'..!)

* To get in touch with more people online,

* And also with an intention to gain 'Followers' or 'To get noticed'...!

(atleast i started with that intention ;))

        Now, to end this up... Bloggers are people who have some thing creative, motivative and informative with them, to share with the World. There might be more number of people who oppose them, and still find it useless... but there are certain millions, getting benefited by them :)

                        So,.... - Keep Blogging. Keep Sharing. Keep Smiling. Keep Motivating -
